YES! 100%! I believe there is value in being intentional and getting feedback from a source who is experienced. I have over 8 years of experience doing weddings. I have planned my own. I also have a long list of skills, degrees, certifications, education, and life experience to support my advice. Intentional can begin with collaborating. These visits are designed to build a relationship and offer insight as you plan a day that feels special and enjoyed. I'll never tell you what to do but I will give my best advice. Time is one of the most valuable things anybody can provide and I am offering mine so we can work together. I'll be honest with you about my concerns and thoughts. I'll be transparent, I'll provide inspiration and options to consider as you choose what to prioritize. I will listen to your hopes as you design a timeline that is packed with meaning but, is also practical. I'll ask questions because I want my clients to feel genuine support. This time together allows me to learn your love story, listen to what is important to you and what you value. I bravely approach conversations to learn about your insecurities so I can better capture photographs you'll truly love. This does not replace the value of a planner or coordinator but if you budget does not allow for both this is a really great support option to assist with planning a day that flows well.

I offer two pre-planning support calls. These are face-to-face over zoom. The first one is early on in your process, so I can support your considerations and hear about your love story. We can also discuss your engagement session and what to expect as you prepare for this session. These are very intentional offerings full of care for your overall experience. Practicing being in front of a camera and seeing yourself in professional photographs is valuable. Especially if it is your first time. I want to help bring awareness to how you can prepare for being photographed and introduce you to the idea of embracing imperfection. Life isn't perfect, but finding perfection in the imperfections makes it unique. This can translate to people and our precious moments. Graditude is something I practice and value to help strengthen my ability to see past the idea of perfection and embrace my experiences with appreciation.

Most of my subjects, myself included, are not professional models. I am trained and confident in how I pose people but how I see you will be different than how you see yourself. You will be harder on yourself and that is normal! So normal! Look at every session you do as an opportunity to learn about yourself. The engagement sessions have value because they are time to practice before your wedding day! That is absolutely valuable.

I will work with you to design a timeline that works for your needs. I will give you my professional opinion on how long each transition of your day will require. I'll help you include moments of meaning as well as formal moments, each of which tells a beautiful story of a wedding day. As we dive into this the last meeting will be a month or so before your wedding date. After this final meeting, I will take all of our notes and turn them into a digital pocket timeline that can be shared with others to keep the day flowing.
